Footer won't print in Publisher

How do I get my footer to print in Publisher on an 8.5 x 11 page? I've used
the 'arrange' feature to change what I believe to be the bottom margin but
the footer still will not print and it does not even show up in my print
preview.

Are you asking about page numbers?

Footers are on the background (master page) in Publisher, look on the view menu,
uncheck "ignore master page".

What are your printers margin limitations? You may have placed the text box
beyond what your printer can print.

option and can't seem to make any progress by using a master page either.

I believe that you are correct...I am trying to print outside of the area
capable by my printer. Thanks for the instructions! I'll rethink my design!

Think of a master page as a pre-printed piece of paper that your regular
Publisher document would be printed on. Whatever goes on it will be printed
on each page that you tie to that master page.

Does your footer need to go on every page or just one? How far from the edge
of the paper is your text?
