footnote font problem

My footnote numbers are not "superscripting" in my
document, but are instead, using the same size font as the
rest of my document. Any suggestions as to how my default
became corrupted? Any quick fixes?

Marijo,

Select the footnote number and then use
Format>Style>Modify>Format>Font and change to superscript.
