Forgot to archive inbox before uninstalling anyway to get back emails?

Paul

Can anyone tell me if the Outlook 2000 Inbox emails are
gone for good if you don't archive them first before
uninstalling office? Or are they stored in a folder
somewhere on my computer and if so where are they and how
do I get access to them as I am temporarily using outlook
express where I would like them temporarily imported to so
I can then read them and then preferably archive them
ready to reimport later into Office.
All suggestions welcome.
Thanks
Paul

Paul,
They should still be on your system.
If you are running 9x/ME they should be located at C:\Windows\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

2000/XP C:\Documents and Settings\<username logged into>\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Cheers
