form filter

I have a combobox on a form that i select diffent subforms with to display
various subforms in a control i have on the main form. I would like to filter
the main form when certain subforms are being displayed. Ex. When i select
"Roster (All Clients) all records are displyed, but when " Roster (Outpatient
Clients) is selected I only want clients marked as "Outpatient" in the
TreatmentModality field to be displayed. Any suggestions?
