Form Submit is not going to the correct folder

I'm hoping somebody has seen this behaviour and can help me out. I build a
basic form in 2007 with no special functionality. When I publish the form to
SharePoint v3 and submit, I don't get any errors. But when I look in the
library, the submitted form does not appear. It seems that the forms are
submitting to the root of the library while all the views are only looking at
a sub-folder called 1. In other words, the views are looking in a location
such as: http://mysite/myformlibrary/1 but the forms are all submitting to
http://mysite/myformlibrary. Any ideas?

-- Hi,
You have to publish the form at the location where you want to submit the
form. While publishing the form, you have to specify the location of the form
where you want to submit. To do this, follow the below steps.
1.Open the form in design mode.
2.Go to View -> design tasks.
3.You will see a task pane right side of the form. In that click on ‘
Publish form template..’.
4.In the publishing wizard, choose the ‘to a sharepoit..’. click Next button.
5.Enter the location of the form to be submitted. (i.e. in your case
http://mysite/myformlibrary/1)
6.Click Next and select the appropriate document library.
7.Click Next until the window closed.
Hope this will help to you.

Thank you for your reply, but I don't think it is going in the correct
direction. I tried your recommendation and it didn't work. Submitting to 1
did not actually submit to 1.

Upon further consideration, it just doesn't make sense. When I publish the
form for the first time it is creating it's own library. If I delete the
existing library and start the publish again, it still results in the same
situation. I don't have the option in the original publish of telling it a
sub directory because the library doesn't even exist yet. So why would the
views choose to point to the 1 directory while the forms publish to the root.
I don't see any settings that would tell the views where to look and after
publishing hundreds of similar forms, I've never even seen the 1 directory
come into play.

Hi,

Where do you want to submit the form, in form library or a subfolder
inside a form library?

Thanks,
