Format lost when forwarding e-mails

When I forward an e-mail the forwarded message loses the original formats, boxes, etc.

How does one forward e-mails with it's original format intact?

Thanks

Message > Forward as Attachment

Any other way?

Thanks!

No. Entourage only supports very limited HTML creation tools. When you hit
Forward or Reply, Entourage automatically converts the complex HTML code of
the selected message into the simple HTML code it supports, resulting in the
loss of formatting. Forward as Attachment bypasses this procedure by
attaching the email message you'd like to forward to a new message. Most
email clients should be able to display the attached email without a
problem.

Bottom line: This is a HUGE issue with Entourage. Some have gone so
far as to say it is Microsoft purposefully neutering Entourage so that
it is not as good as Outlook. I find it to be a simply stunning
omission on Microsoft's part.

Let Microsoft know. Use Send feedback to Microsoft under Entourage's Help
menu.

I have to agree with the complaints above. This is a big issue and Microsoft keeps releasing updates (they just release another update today) and fails to fix the issue. I have sent feedback under Entourage's help menu. Microsoft needs to fix this html formating issue in replys and forwarding (forwarding as an attachment is a work around, not a fix).

What is a shame is Microsoft did a WONDERFUL job with all the other products in Office. For the most part, I love Word, Powerpoint, and Excel. They really dropped the ball on Entourage.

Hi Roger!

Nothing is broken.

Entourage does not support composing complex HTML, which would be
required to simply forward a message. Forwarding is essentially copying
the contents of the old message into a new message. You can't do this
today with any complex HTML message.

That's not a bug but rather Microsoft's decision. I can't speak for
Microsoft but I suspect adding complex HTML to Entourage is on their
list but just not a high priority compared to stability and other issues.

You've already sent Microsoft feedback and that's what we need to
encourage everyone to do. Votes and customer demand count when deciding
which features need to be prioritized.
