Outlook doesn't USE "doc/excel".

Please can you be not quite so vague and post a LOT more detail. Such as how
you backed up, your OS, your Office version etc etc etc.
Remember, NO-ONE here can see your computer.

And the relevence to Outlook is?

When you decide to post in a relevent group be sure to post some meaningfull
info, rather than simply making a statement.
