I am creating a new DB with phone numbers and zip codes. I hope someone will
help me format these fields. I found a DB template on the MS site,
downloaded it, and briefly worked with it. The phone numbers are already
formatted in this one (for addresses) exactly as I want them. The zip codes
are for five digits only, so I would like to add the capability of using
extensions where given. I would use this template if I could rename and
rearrange the fields to do what I want, but I am new to this. So, I decided
to enter data in a blank DB, which is fine because I can easily name the
fields and arrange them as desired, but I have no idea how to format the
phone and zip code fields in the blank database. I know this is really
simple to do, I just don't know how yet. Thanks for your help. MW
