I am trying to build a form in FP 2002 but am getting the
error that I need to have FrontPage extensions installed
on my server. My company does not have FrontPage
extensions and advise me that they will not install them
on their server. Is there any way to build and use a form
that does not require these extensions, possibly an add-
on. Also if there is, how would I save it so that FP
doesn't automatically add it's extensions? Any help would
be appreciated so I don't have to deal with our IT people.

You will need to ask your IT people what they will support and if they will
support it.

I've been through this with IT types and Tom is pretty
much right. Do they support asp, php, cgi or what?

Build the front end of the form, give it to them and tell
them to make it work. If they don't want to, then just
head right on up the chain of command.
