Formula Calculation erratic

I have a formula that takes the contents of the Title field in
File/Properties/Summary tab and displays it in a custom text field eg Text15.
This is fine for our purposes across two hundred plans. Occasionally
individual plans seem to have a specific problem with this calculation.

Problem is the data entered into the Title field will not display in Text15.
To get it to work I either have to blank out the data and retype it thus
forcing the formula to recalculate it or if that doesn't work I have to enter
a space before the data string in the Title field. This makes it display in
Text15. This seems very bizarre and only seems to happen every now and again
- any ideas? Is this a known issue with MSP? Is my formula inherently
unreliable?

Your forumula should read [Title]
Do you have something else for a formula you would like to share?
Can you specifically identify the text producing error -- such as the first
character is a quotation mark, a number, etc.?
