Formula Calculations

I've recently noticed a problem with my Excel where it no longer automatically calculates my formulas. To give an example - I have a formula to calculate a range of numbers. If I change one of the numbers in the range, it doesn't change my total until I go to that field, press F2 and then ENTER. This seems really weird, and I can't figure out why. Can anyone help???

goto 'Tools - options - Calculate' and enable automatic calculation
