"Forward Delete" keystroke in Word

Unlike my iMac, my new iBook has no forward delete key (for erasing
characters after the insertion point). Word 2001 appears to have no Forward
Delete keystroke, other than "DeleteWord" that deletes the next word. Is
there no way I can forward delete single characters (I was able to in Word
95!)? Thanks

Hold down the fn key (bottom left) and press the usual delete key. That
gives you forward-delete on an iBook, in any program that accepts the
forward delete key of a regular keyboard.
