forwarding emails

Hawkeye

i would like to know how to send emails from my outlook 2003 inbox which is
on an exchange sever system to an email address that i can access elsewhere
whilst i am holiday. could i do this by setting up a rule? if so what would
the rule be and how would i need to set my rules box up to ensure i got the
email while i am away?

Thanks for your help with this problem

i never could get the rule to work correctly
the way i did it successfully was to creat an email address somewhere in
active directory, the take your user account, and set the exchange
properties to also forward mail to an address, then select that contact that
contains the outside address
i set mine up to forward messages to my hotmail when i was out of the
country a few months ago, worked out well. of course, you could you owa when
you are away, but if for whatever reason (security, etc) that's not
possible, i found this as a simple alternative
