FP2003 - Problem with View dropdown on Menu bar

I just bought FrontPage2003 (Academic) and did a full
install but on the View drop-down menu on the Menu bar,
only the Page view is available; none of the other views
(folders, reports, navigation, hyperlinks, tasks) are
available (all are grayed out except Page view). I've
checked and double-checked the page options, options,
customize, etc. menus and can't find anything that
pertains to the views. I reinstalled (custom this time)
so I could make sure that everything was "run from my pc"
and I still don't have any views available except for Page
view. I checked the drop-down both with a new blank page
and with the webpage(s) I created in the past few days
since installing and there's no difference. Did I miss
something? Or do I have a bad package? I'm running XP
Home with plenty of RAM and HD space. Thanks for any help.

Presume you are talking about your menus
Did you set View Toolbars Customize Options to always display full menus
And do you have a Web open (not just a page) - File New Site

Yes, thanks, view all options is the first thing I do when a new program is installed (I hate options not showing). Also, I had created 5 linked pages with this software after I installed it last weekend and they seem to work fine except for those View menu options being unavailable. However, after reading your response more closely, I went back into FrontPage to File ... New and I see what you were saying. I built the pages from the first option (blank page) instead of the One Page Web listed below. I selected the One Page Web now and the View menu is ok - all the options show up. So I don't understand why Microsoft has it that way, but now I see I'll need to build my pages off the other option. Thank you very much - I never would have thought of that.

Always start w/ a web/site, then you can just add pages
