Frames and Swapping Images

Hi. I'm using FP 2000. (Used it years back, but no expertise and now have
forgotten most. Except for how to go to a newsgroup for help<G>)

First, would someone go to this link and tell me whether this college's
Human Resources department is using frames? (Link is direct to Human
Resources section of website)
http://www.canyons.edu/offices/HumanResources/

The second question is whether someone can link me to a source where I can
read up on swapping images. I have looked in the two tomes I bought way
back when I first used Front Page 2000 (one is titled something with the
word "Bible" in it; the other is named something like "Complete Reference"
.... If these have the info, I ain't finding it.)

The situation is this. The department (Distance Learning) has need for
information divided into three main categories -- 'general distance
learning', 'online learning' and 'college by television'. Under each of
these is a group of about five sub-categories, and then detail pages. I
want to design a frame setup in the horizontal hierarchy style -- the three
main choices in the top frame, and then subcategory links in the middle
section. I made up some test pages and got the hierarchy frame thing to
work (!!!!) using just plain old hyperlinks in each frame, and now want to
make it a little more visual so the user knows where they are, etc. Image
swapping is, I think, exactly what I need. I seem to recall that there was
someplace to assign swapped images to certain actions (e.g., on hover, on
click, on focus (?) )

I really wanted to find somewhere with a fairly thorough discussion of how
to do this, especially because I'm unclear about how to get the image to
change BACK if they change their mind and want to try the second choice. I
only want the currently chosen image to have the alternate swapped image
displayed, and want the formerly chosen one to revert back to normal. So
assuming there's a source, I'd sure appreciate it.

(Note to self: please don't have them tell me to go to html view. Please
don't have them tell me to go to html view. Please don't have them tell me
to....)

P.S. I *could* go to html if I need to. Used to program in Access Visual
Basic, though that was back when the number of the year began with a "19"
and not a "20". And I certainly am NOT any kind of comfortable in HTML,
though I'm flexible as I need to be.

Thanks so much!!!

Annette :)

Forgot to clarify something. My work will NOT be going to the Human
Resources Department pages. Distance Learning is a different department
with no money, and I'm doing it for free as a favor because I like them and
because they're just starting up and are desperate enough to not care that
one gets what one pays for.

They currently have
http://www.canyons.edu/offices/distance_learning/

and if you can see three distinct main categories on that page, you're
better than I am.
