Fresh Start w/Outlook XP?

T

Tabcourt

After doing several restores over the past few months because of "disappearing" emails and contacts, I've now gotten several duplicate Inbox, draft, etc. folders. Some I can't sem to delete. Can someone lay out a protocol for backing up all of present emails and contacts and then maybe re-installing Outlook so that i can import these items back into it with the result being to have only one set of folders? Also, can someone please explain what "personal" folders are? Is the Inbox folder a personal folder? Also, is there a way to eliminate duplicate contact entries? Thanks.

For back-up purposes I suggest you use the following tool;
http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/0/f/e0f1a42b-e4bd-4306-a3d4-78ff9d2b22ca/pfbackup.exe

If you need to restore just copy over the original file. Do NOT use
import/export or you'll end up with duplicates!

To clean up your current duplicates you can either do it manually or (in
case you have lots of them) use an add-in for that;

If you decide to order use "BH93RF24" to get a discount
