Frontpage 2003 Tables

Houston

Does anyone know how to setup the Table Properties so
that each row and column height and width can be adjusted
independant of the other rows and columns.

That is if I have a table with two rows and three
columns, how can I setup the table properties so that I
can adjust row 1s first and second column divider without
adjusting row 2s.

Inother words, how can I float or make independant a
Tables row and column.

Have you tried creating a new table within the cell in
question? I have found that tables are more tame and
controlable when I design using tables within tables.

Hi Houston,
The only way I've seen this done is by adding a row.
Then you can merge the first two column's cells (four cells into two)

Take a look at how this page is laid out. www.korthusa.com/docs/caranta1.htm
You can do an "edit with FP" from IE to see the layout easier.

You might also try the new Layout Tables and Cells feature. You can
visually draw your table as you want it to look, and FP 2003 will design the
table, and if necessary nested tables, for you. You should be able to find
sufficent help on how to use this feature. In addition, you might check out
Office Online at http://office.microsoft.com and specifically the FrontPage
section at http://office.microsoft.com/frontpage.

If you need additional help, I would suggest using the
microsoft.public.frontpage.client newsgroup. Since this deals primarily
with the application user interface, you will likely find additional
resources there.
