frontpage server extensions

i'm trying to display database query results in a .asp that i created with
frontpage. when i try to set up my web, it states the http server doesn't
have frontpage extensions installed. are they necessary to use/view asp
files? thanks.

Mike:
The server extensions are not necessary for .asp pages, but a server *is*
necessary. What OS are you running on your PC?
