Hi folks!

Here's what's been happening lately:
1. Insert picture as watermark
2. Adjust so picture is "behind text"
3. Look on screen - everything is fine
4. Print out: the watermark is *on top of* the text
5. Check my settings - they're all correct.

Anyone? And thanks in advance!

I've occasionally run into this problem when printing to a Postscript
printer. Sometimes the problem can be fixed by using a PCL printer
personality for that printer, or printing to another printer.

If you're printing to a non-Postscript printer, then try turning off
background printing in Word (Tools | Options | Print), and turning off
print spooling and/or advanced text services in Windows (Start | Control
Panel | Printers | <right-click on your printer name> | Properties |
Advanced).

Actually I've just tried doing what you suggested, and it's still doing
it. The odd thing is that it's doing it on my home computer as well...

Amy other ideas anyone?

Check the setting of the "Print body text before header/footer" option on
the Compatibility tab of Tools | Options. If the box is checked, clear it
and vice versa and see if that helps.
