FS and FF combined

I have a task that needs to start when the task before it completes (FS), but
also needs to finish when a different task finishes (FF). Duration is set to
zero at the moment. The FF overrides the FS predecessor, no matter what I
do. Obviously, I'm doing something incorrectly or maybe this just can't be
accomplished. Any help or guidance is appreciated, thanks.

Hi,

You don't do anything wrong, that is how Project works.
Still, there is a workaround called Hammock Task.
