Gantt Chart and Tracking Progress

I would like to show a Gantt chart that illustrates where we currently are in
the project, and where we are supposed to be. In other words, I would
display three lines: 1 - schedule, 2 - progress to date, 3 - where our
progress should be. I can get to 1 and 2, but I can't seem to figure out 3.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to Baseline your project. Do a "Tools, Tracking, Save
Baseline". Use default settings. Then, from the Views menu, select
"Tracking Gantt". You'll see 2 bars for each task, the gray one on the
bottom is your original plan. The blue/red bar above is your currrent
status. As you enter Actuals (Dates, durations, work), the upper
colored bar will change accordingly. The gray bar will remain unless
you re-baseline the project.

Hope this helps in your world.
