General - Project 2007

Hi
I'm a bit of a novice so these questions may seem a bit juvenile.
I have set up a Project and created a resource calendar with non working
days etc. The Project still seems to assign tasks on some of those days
though.
Secondly - can I use Project to enter actual time and days spent ona task as
a kind of timesheet. EG I have one task of 4 days 23rd,24th,25th &26th April
- I actually did that task on 23rd,25th,26th &27th - can I chnge that easily?
Any advice gratefully received.

Hi Barrie,

1. Did you assign the resoruce to the task?
2. Yes. Go to the Task Usage view,
Set Day as the minor timescale
Right-click on the right part
Click on Actual Work
In the left part inster the colulmn Remaining Work.

Now you're all set for a "Timesheet" application.
