Hello
If a company plans on buying MS Project server, does this mean that they
have to buy many licenses for MS project professional?

I am just confused since I read on a fact sheet that a user can access
project information from Microsoft project server without having microsoft
standard of professional installed on their computer???

Why would MS project standard be even mentioned here since I was told that
you need MS professional in order to user MS project server?

I am just trying to understand the licensing so we can see if it is
something we would go for.

Thank you

Those users that want to create and update Project plans need a Project Pro
licence

Access information, yes, but not directly create nor update plans. Look but
don't touch, as it were. Even then they need CALs

Why doe Microsoft do things none of us inderstands? That is philosophy and
not relevant to the issue :))
