Get rid of the drawing envelope in word 2003 pronto

[word charts and graphics]

I have been trying tomake flow chatrs in word and have found this impossibl,e
how do you start with a blank page and disable the envelope?

Try Tools > Options > General tab
Uncheck "Automatically create drawing canvas when inseerting autoshapes"
