geting a Global.mpt error

in a work environment, I have loaded Project 2003 onto my computer from our
network. ( Fully Licenced and authorized ). Everytime I open Project I get
a Global.mpt error reading that the Global file is missing or corrupt. I
have reloaded the software but continue to get the error. Any ideas why and
how to fix it?
