Getting rid of trailing CRLF after table end

B

Brian Abbott

I'm using automation to insert a document containing only a table (nothing
above or below it) into a master document . Several of these tables are
inserted one after the other. What I want is for each table to butt up
underneath the table inserted above (ie no blank line in between). What I
get is always a blank line in between.

This seems to be happening because in the document to be inserted Word
insists on having a CRLF after the table and I can't find any way round that
behaviour.

Can anyone help?

TIA

If you delete the intervening empty paragraph, the two tables will be
joined. But you can format the font size and/or line height to 1 point or
format the paragraph as Hidden.
