Ghost folders in outlook 2003

Have you seen this where Outlook shows few folders with
the name <0w#25>. I'm not able to delete/rename/access
the folder and don't know what is contains. Please help.

Which folders are they? Are they renamed default folder (like Inbox, Sent
Items) or an additional set of folders?

No. They are not under Mailbox but they are at the
Mailbox level. I have about 11 of them and they all show

Is this mailbox on an Exchange server or in a pst-file? If it is a pst-file
I would choose the easy way out;
Create a new pst-file and copy the folders you want to keep to it and delete
the old pst-file.

Like I said; take the easy way out. Create a new pst-file (File-> New->
Outlook Data File) and copy the folders you want to keep to it. When done
remove the old pst-file and use the new one instead.
