I won't import Documents only.
I will import :
- Pictures
- Favorites (Safari, Firefox)
- Office identity
and maybe some more tidbits.

Well that's what falls into the general "Documents" for me.

The files I am woriied about are not user-created files. They are
software-created files. SUpport files created automatically for you.

The ones that are a bit between the two would be custom dictionaries and
custom templates,

Corentin,
To be sure to understand clearly what all that m$oft mess means :
- Create Account #2
- Migrate Documents/Pictures usw from Account #1
But :
- Migrate apps ? (alright) or re-install apps ? (if so, it's a no-no : I have 130 of them).

Well that's the beauty of MacOS X. Apps are installed in /Applications
and are therefore accessible to all users on the Mac.
The difference between the accounts is the support files. Each users
gets his own preferences, templates, etc.

The idea here is to leave all these support files asside. You import
your own personal files along and you forget about the 2000 preference
files from sharewares you tried years ago. It implies re-entering some
of the preferences for applications you care about, but it also allows
you to get rid of an obviously nasty corruption.
Of you realize you really need a specific preference file anyway,
nothing forbids you from re-importing this specific file. What we want
to stay away from here is the massive import of all support files.

To be fair, I wouldn't call that an MS mess per se. Corruption can
affect any file from any application. Since this is not a generalized
issue, it just looks like pure bad luck :-\
