Groove Public Network Problem

S

StizKL

Hi,

We've been testing Groove 2007 Beta 2, and been extremely impressed.

We all registered on the Public Network when we started testing it. One
small problem has occured. An employee's computer crashed, and he didn't
have his account backed up. So, when he reinstalled, he re-registered
himself on the public network again, and now there is a duplicate of his
name, which makes it very confusing for others. On top of it, his computer
crashed again, and now he will be registering for the third time.

Is there anyway to remove the previous accounts on the public network? Or
restore those accounts. Who can I contact about doing this?

Thank you very much for your time.

To restore the Groove account, please choose New Account > check the option
"Use a Grovoe account I have already created" > type in the email address and
password to get back the Groove account.

To remove the duplication contact information, please refer to the following
KB article to remove the Identity information (contact information).

Also, you can delete the Groove account on the Groove Management Server.
Thus, this contact will be removed on the Public Groove.net after 40 days
automatically.

If you have your own Groove Enterprise Management Server, go to
DomainName\Members > check the member> click Manage Members > choose Delete
Member.

If you are using the Groove hosted Management Server, contact the Groove
support.
