Group By Summary - Bar Style

Is there a work around for the following defect.

Using the tracking gantt view from the menu choose an existing group
definition...
Project> Group By> Priority
....keeping outline structure.
You will only see a "Group By Summary" bar for Start and Finish.
Now define a new for "Group By Summary" bar...
Format> Bar Styles >Group By Summary > Baseline Start and Baseline Finish
The new bar does not display, even though the Baseline Start and Baseline
Finish fields appear on the table correctly.
