Group email

There is nothing under "Contact" that will allow me to
make a "Distribution List". Nothing under "Help Topics"
that points to creating a group email.
Under "Personal Address Book" there is advise as follows:
A customizable address book best used to store
personal distribution lists you frequently address
messages to, such as a list of everyone on the racquetball
team. If you use Microsoft Exchange Server, you can also
add an address for a public folder to the Personal Address
Book. Personal Address Book files have a .pab extension
and can be stored on a disk.

That still does not tell me on how to create a group
email.I also do not have Microsoft Exchange Server.
Please help if you no a solution.

You should be able to create a new Distribution List via File | New, or by
clicking the arrow next to the New button on the Standard toolbar and
selecting Distribution List from the menu. The DL will be stored in the
Contacts folder.

Thanks for replying.Your suggestion did not work. Could it
be that you are using a later version from OUTLOOK? I am
using 97.
Anyway there is no distribution list to select from. Any
other suggestion?
Thanks

Aha. It always helps if you post your Outlook version in your original
message so we can narrow down the possibilities for a solution :)

Do you not have the Personal Address Book service in your profile? If not,
go to Tools | Services and add it. Once you've done that, you should be
able to go into the PAB and add a Personal Distribution List there.
