Guestbook error

Guestbook (using FP 2002 & FP Guestbook) has worked fine
in the past but recently when someone trys to add an
entry, this error message comes up:

FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.
Webmaster: please see the server's application event log
for more details.

1) Where would I find the server's application event log?
2) What am I looking for?

Even though the error message appears, the entry still
shows up in the guestbook as a delayed response.

1) You need to contact your host for the server logs
2) an entry indicating what the error details were
