Guestlog.htm

I have FP2003, how do I edit the guestlog.htm which is the file on the
website to delete comments but keep the rest intact without republishing the
file and deleting all the other comments? The site is at www.nigelane.co.uk

Open the online site in FP and find the guestlog.htm page, edit the comments and save it

Unable to edit the comments as it is a dwt file and it won't allow me to edit
the comments part of the page.

guestlog.htm is not (or should not be) associated with a DWT. This page
should be located in the _private folder, and is included into the
guestbook.htm, which may have a DWT attached.

Thanks, there is a text file in the private folder but it is empty and nil
else there??

You are looking in the online web? If so, open the guestbook page in
FrontPage, and check the location of the guestlog.htm, either in form
properties (right click anywhere in the form area, and choose "form
properties", the location will be in the Send to - "File name" text box)
..or in Code/HTML view and look for the Save Results webbot. (<!--webbot
bot="SaveResults" ... u-file="_private/guestlog.htm" ....

Note guestbook and guestlog are the standard names used in FP, you may have
used different names for the same pages.
