H-E-L-P! different footer for different section Word 2000

I am working on a document DUE TOMORROW of course that is divided into
sections. The footer for the first section is 1 of (insert page no). How do I
start another footer for the second section? i.e., 2 of (insert page no). Any
help will be greatly appreciated!!!

I think you're confused. 2 of (something) is usually used for Page X of Y
numbering, where X is the page number and Y is the number of pages. That
aside, however, you need to unlink the footer in section 2 from the footer
in section 1 in order to make it different. Click on the "Same as Previous"
button to turn it off. For more, see
