Had any problems with Office XP Service Pack 3?

I had multiple problems with SP2 in Windows XP. If I really don't need
Service Pack 3 for Office, I'd rather not load it?

Does anyone have any suggestions related to this? You shoule know that I am
not on a network.

Hi, Confused in MN,

Service Packs aren't mandatory, but they contain bug fixes and security
patches. It's usually a good idea to stay up with the latest, but it's
certainly not a requirement.

Do keep in mind that if you need support from Microsoft, or future patches,
you'll be expected to have the latest version.
