Hang punctuation in Powerpoint

Does anyone know how to hang punctuation (i.e. quotation marks) in
Powerpoint 2000 (win)/v.X (mac)? The help system doesn't seem to have
an explanation. I'm used to Freehand/Illustrator and having a hard
time finding it in Powerpoint. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PowerPoint isn't very sophisticated when it comes to setting type. It doesn't
offer any support for hanging punctuation, unfortunately.
