Has anyone had MS Project needs to close sorry for inconvenience?

Hello,

I have been experiencing a very frustrating problem with MS Project. When I
go to open a file it comes up with the I'm sorry but MS Project will need to
close...we are sorry for the inconvenience. I was working with Project 2000
at the time when this happened 1st and then loaded Project 2003 to see if my
software was corrupt. After 2 or 3 successful file openings the same problem
happened with 2003. I then proceeded to uninstall 2003 and reinstall 2000.
Same thing it works for 2 or 3 times that you can't open it again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure it's the software?

I had a similar problem. It turned out to be network hardware. Could it be
a full disk?

Thanks for the reply. When you say it's a full disk...do you mean hard drive?
If so it is no where near full. How do I dtermine if it is network hardware?
This is my PC and it is not part of a network.

Any other thoughts?
