Having problems intalling SP3

I'm having problems installing SP3 or any other program. When i try a window
shows up saying i have a not expected version, or something like that. I
can't also open my excel a window opens telling me to intal office xp with
front page from a cd. What can i do?

Uninstall Office and reinstall it back.
Also make sure that you rename C:\programfiles\microsoft office to old and
c:\program files\officeupdate10 fodler to old1.
If you are comfortable with the registry then backup and delete
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office
Try installing office and then update office.
