Having trouble with contact list, pls help

S

SP

When I open a word or excel document and click on the File, Send to mail
recipient I cannot access my contact list when I click on the To button.
The contact list does not appear in the Select Names Box. It works when I go
into Outlook2000 but not when I try to send mail from the actual excel or
word file.

Anyone know why this is happening.

Thanks.

Post your mail support mode of Outlook.
Line 2 of Help | About, if you don't know.

We use Exchange Server and Outlook 2000.

Make sure your default Outlook profile has the Outlook Address Book
configured correctly.
Go to Tools > Services. Make sure the Outlook Address Book service is
listed. If not, add it. Next, R click on the Contact folder or folders you
want the OAB to display, choose "Properties", go to the Outlook Address Book
tab and check the "Show this folder as an E-mail address book" box. You may
also need to go to Tools > Options > Addressing Tab and choose to show your
Contacts folder.
