Header's with images don't print (word 2003)

I support several users that have built headers with an image (university seal) in them. For some reason after our upgrade to office 2003 this doesn't work. I have tried to fix it and the only way seems to be making a text box instead of a header. Is there a way to get the old headers to work?

Make sure that "Drawing objects" is checked on the Print tab of Tools |
Options.

Is the image linked or embedded?

That option is already selected. We also noticed that when the document

is sent to another user, the header with the image of the seal isn't seen.
Any other suggestions?
