Hebrew font displays "funny" in Word (Office 2008) on MacBook

Hi,
I have a MacBook Pro and MS Office 2008.
My Hebrew displays "funny"
The vowels are not BELOW the letters as they are supposed to appear.
They are besides the letter.
Please help!

I haven't used a Mac since System 9 (which didn't offer R-to-L
capacity in the American system), but this would be a Mac problem
rather than a Word problem -- if you're using a Unicode Hebrew font,
everything should line up properly. Do the letters insert themselves
right-to-left as you type from the start of a word?

Have you ever tried typing Arabic? Do the contextual shapes appear
automatically?
