David,

We're going to need a bit more information. Which version of Publisher? Have
you installed all of the applicable updates? Specifically what are you doing
and what happens?

I'm using publisher 3.0. when I click on anything in the
help menu I get a message that publisher has encountered a
problem and has to shut down. then it shuts down and I
loose what I'm working on.

It was working fine until I had to get this new computer.
As far as I can tell it works fine on this computer except
for that one problem. I was running Windows 98 on my old
computer, and Windows X. P. on the new one. I'll try
reinstalling. Thanks, David

Nope. Reinstalling doesn't help.

All that would apply to my computer. there were some that
dealt with networks that I didn't bother with.

It is unusual the HELP in Publisher 95 is causing you this grief.
Perhaps if some here got off their big fat rear ends they possibly could
help you.

What happens if you go to Explorer and find the Publisher 95 HELP file and
double click on it? Does it open OK?
