help! finding and restoring OE files after re-installing OD

A

Anne Wilson

Before my primary hard disk failed, I copied everything to my second hard
disk. Now I have a new hard disk and have reinstalled Windows XP home.

But now I cannot find my OE files on the second disk!

Has anyone any idea where they might be? And how I can find and restore
them?

Thanks.

Anne Wilson.

If OE means OutlookExpress, you are on the wrong NG. This is for MS Access
ADP topics.

With that said, here is wherethe od Outlook Express files are stored:

"C:\Documents and Settings\[yourUserName]\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\[Some GUID does for an OE
identity]\Microsoft\OutlookExpress"

You may have to change Windows Explorer's "File Options" to show hidden
file.
