Help from Microsoft?

T

Tim Ryan

I tried to send an email to Microsoft to get help with an Outlook problem.
The Microsoft email support system asked for my product ID #. I know where
and how to find it, I even confirmed it by reading the site, but it just kept
telling me that I was not entering a valid number.

I checked, rechecked and checked again, but it just kept telling me that I
was entering an invalid number or in the wrong format. But they even show
you the exact format to enter it in... Nothing...

Where does one go for tech support on MS products? Is this where I should
be spending my time? :)

Thanks,
Tim

I did that... Thank you for suggesting that. I'm NEW to this forum/group,
so I do hope that I find the answers that I need.

Someone else had already posted, having the EXACT same problem that I am
having. So I do hope that there is a simple answer.

Thanks again,
Tim

Posting in a miscellaneous group should be a last ditch effort. It's kind of
like having bad eyesight. Your first call should be to someone who
specializes in vision problems. ;-)
