HELP!!! How to use a .mswmm (from movie maker) in PPT presentation

I am trying to insert a movie file which is an original video file that has
been edited with movie maker and the answer I get is:
PPT could not insert a movie from the selected file. Either the file is not
standard or quicktime is not instaled properly. Very important presentation
tomorrow!!!

You have to save the Movie Maker Project File (.mswmm) as a movie first.
From witihin Movie Maker, open you .mswmm file. Then under finish move,
click on save to my computer. Follow the directions to create a .wmv file
that can be used in PowerPoint.
