Help! - Is there a way to save font + size across system?

Is there anywhere to permanently set the 'font' and the 'size of font' for
all word documents on my system? It seems there is already a default of
'Courier - 10' that every new document opens in that format and is saved that
way. I would like to adjust the font and size to be larger across the board.
Or at least to be larger when viewing them.

You can adjust the size of fonts for all other programs using Control Panel
- including for Internet Explorer and the general look of the computer.
However, Word remains in smaller text no matter what I do.

Hope this makes sense to someone that can help. Please respond. Thanks!

If all you want is bigger font size on the screen (but not when printing)
then the easiest is to increase the Zoom setting (View menu).

If you want to change the actual font name and size, and if all your
documents are based on Normal.dot (the default template), try this:

Format menu > Font
Adjust the font name and size as you wish, then, before leaving that dialog
box, click on the Set as default button. Word will warn you that the default
will be changed for all documents based on Normal.dot. Accept and leave.

For documents based on other templates, you have to change the font in the
templates and then update the documents based on the template (Tools >
Templates and Add-ins... > check the Update styles from template box, leave
the dialog, then return to uncheck it, unless you want it on all the time).
This might reset some manual formatting.

THANK YOU!!!!!! That does it! I looked everywhere, but somehow overlooked
"zoom". Thanks again!
