help: liny lines

Z

Zagreb

maybe it s to easy, but...
in Excel, After i go to print preview and return after that, there are liny
lines that are showing the end of the pages. Is it possible to move those
lines (but without closing the whole excel file and reopen it again - that
is the way i can move them right now)...
Thanks in advance

You could try saving the file more often - it may be that
the memory is being overloaded and this is affecting the
screen display.

Unfortunately, that happened on several PCs i was trying this feature. I'm
sure that you also got those "broken", "discontinuous" lines...
Debra, please help...

The lines are simply there to show you where ends of the pages are. If you
don't want to see them use the Fit To option on the Page Setup. This will
get rid of the lines, but you'll need to set it back for printing - unless
you do want to Fit To.

I'm not Debra, but try Tools|Options|View Tab|Uncheck Page Breaks.

And if you want to move them (adjust where the pagebreaks should go), you can
use View|Page Break Preview.

This might be useful if you're trying to keep certain rows together. (Then
View|Normal to get back to, er, normal.)
