HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am relitevly new to the computer world but i have had my com at home for about 8-9 months i am just about gettin used to it but still havin problems my main problem is that i have some how lost all my microsoft programmes such as WORD EXCELL FRONTPAGE <OFFICE they all just seem to have vanished any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Possibly it's not the programs themselves but just the shortcuts that are
missing. Use Windows Find/Search to look for winword.exe. If it turns up,
then Word is still installed. Create a new shortcut (right-click on the
filename and choose Create Shortcut), then drag that shortcut to your
desktop. Do the same for the other apps.

Thanks for the help i have tried this and to no avail there does'nt seem to be any file found that contains winword.exe.so any further help would be gratefully recieved i think they might need installing again allthough im not sure.

Yes, if winword.exe is no longer on your hard drive, then you will need to
reinstall Office from the original media.
