What exactly is it you are trying to accomplish? If you are trying to
insert a Word document into PowerPoint, you are completely missing the point
of PowerPoint. It is not an overhead projector consisting of words that you
read to your audience. it is supposed to be bulleted points that you
elaborate on by knowing the additional text.

If you really want to be able to show a Word document while doing as Slide
Show, I recommend doing the following:

1. Place your Word document in the same folder as your PowerPoint file.
2. Insert some sort of object (clipart, Action Button, AutoShape, etc.) on
your slide that you want to be able to view the Word doc.
3. Right-click that object and select "Action Settings".
4. Click the "Hyperlink to" dropdown and select "Other file..."
5. Browse to and select your Word document.
6. Make sure the "Highlight Click" checkbox at the bottom left of the Action
Settings dialog box is checked.
7. Click "OK" to exit out and go into Slide Show mode to test it out.

When you are done reviewing your Word document, clicking the "X" at the top
right will return you to your Slide Show.
