When you installed Office 2003 S&T, you should have been asked if your want
to uninstall prior versions. If you selected Yes, then prior versions of
the Office applications included in Office 2003 S&T {such as Word} were
uninstalled. However, prior versions of applications included Office 2000
Professional and not in Office 2003 S&T {such as Access} were left intact
and are still usable.
If you choose not to uninstall the prior version or do not need the Office
2000 Professional applications that remain, you can safely uninstall them
from Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.
